Quake Cheats

All Runes Stand in the area in "The House of Cthon" where the first Rune was located. Pause game play, highlight the "Customize Controls" option, and quickly press R, Z, L, X, Y, L, R, Y, L, R. A confirmation message will appear behind the option menu selections. All Weapons and Full Ammo Highlight CUSTOMIZE CONTROLS on the Options screen, then press R, X, L, Z, L, R, Y, L, R, Y. Cluster Bombs Go to the OPTIONS menu, higlight AUTO-TARGETING, and press R, X, L, Z, L, R, Y, L, R, Y. A new option known called "Cluster Bombs" will appear. If you select it, your rocket launcher's ammo will break into about six gernades. Easy Difficulty after Game Starts Pause game play, highlight the "Music Volume" control on the options menu, and quickly press R, L, X, Y, Z, R, L, X, Y, Z. A confirmation message will appear behind the option menu selections. Full Health Pause game play, highlight the "Customize Controls" option, and quickly press R, Y, L, Y, X, Y, Z, X, Y, Z. God Mode Pause game play, highlight the "Customize Controls" option, and quickly press R, L, X, Y, Z, R, L, X, Y, Z. A confirmation message will appear behind the option menu selections. Hard Difficulty after Game Starts Pause game play, highlight the "Music Volume" control on the options menu, and quickly press R, X, L, Z, L, R, Y, L, R, Y. A confirmation message will appear behind the option menu selections. Jevon's Control Mode During play, pause the game and enter the options menu. Highlight "Customize Control" and press R, R, L, R, X, Y, Z, X, Y, Z in one swift motion until you see a faint message appear behind the text from the option menu. Jevon's Controls should now be activated. Note: This control mode requires an analog controller. Level Select Either a) Make sure you have all four Runes (hint: enter the "Get All Runes" cheat first) then highlight "Reset to Default" in the Options menu and enter R, R, L, R, X, Y, Z, X, Y, Z. In the "Entrance" level stand on the right half of the flat part of the bridge over the lava (hint: just walk straight forward from your starting position till you reach the flat part) then pause, highlight "Reset to Default" and enter R, R, L, R, X, Y, Z, X, Y, Z. Monster Control Mode During play, pause the game and enter the Options menu. Highlight "Auto Targetting" and press R, R, L, R, X, Y, Z, X, Y, Z in one swift motion until you see a faint message appear behind the text from the option menu. Your weapons will become more powerful, but only one type of weapon will 'upgraded' on each stage. Nail Tracers To add tracer effects to the nail gun, highlight "autotarget" and press R, L, X, Y, Z, R, L, X, Y, Z. Normal Mode If you set the difficulty too high, pause the game, enter the "Options" menu, and Highlight the "Music Volume" slider and press R, R, L, R, X, Y, Z, X, Y, Z You should see the words "Normal game mode activated" behind the options. Restart Level To restart the current level, press PAUSE, go to RESET DEFAULTS and press R, L, X, Y, Z, R, L, X, Y, Z. Nightmare Mode To play in Nightmare mode, choose the fourth episode and fall into the pool of water near the entrance. While you are sinking, strafe left until you reach land, then walk toward the doorway. There you will find a secret slipgate that leads to Nightmare mode.
