Change Time
Once you start the "WE ARE NOT ALONE" chapter of the game, go left to the door. If you open the door, you will see Gordan Freeman run into the portal that takes him to Xen. If you are fast enough, you can quickly run after him and jump into the same portal he goes into before it closes. If done correctly, you will be transported to Xen with Freeman. However, you only have a brief few seconds to look around before you die. The screen fades to black and these words are displayed:
Subject: Shephard
Status: Evaluation Terminated
Post Mordem: Subject attempted to create temporal paradox
It says this because you have just altered the seen of events that occured in the original Half-Life game and have somehow changed time...

Original levels
You can play all the Half-Life levels that Gordon Freeman went through as Adrion Shepard, but in the lab none of the scientists will talk to you.
Hidden audio
Approach the Boss of Opposing Force to hear backwards audio composed of the phrase "To win the game you must kill me Randy Pitchford" when played correctly. Randy Pitchford is the leader of the development team at Gearbox Software.
Cheat Codes
Load the game with the "hl.exe -dev -console -game gearbox" command line. Then while playing a game, press ~ to display the console and enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function:
