Ending requirements These are the requirments needed in 72 hour mode to unlock different endingd the farther in the letter goes the worst it is i.e. f = worst a = best Ending A: Solve all cases and return to the teleport at 12 am on the 22nd Ending B: solve all cases and resue a certain number of survivors (unknown number) Ending C: Dont get to the helliport on time and solve all cases Ending D: Be a prisoner of the special forces at 12 am on the 22nd Ending E: Dont be at the helliport and dont solve all cases Ending F: Fail to collect all of Carlitos bombs on act 7-2 Unlockable Items A handful of the Achievements have Unlockable content that becomes available once they've been activated. These, rewards, which include special costumes and items, can be found inside Shopping Bags behind the air duct in the Security Room. Overtime Mode When you finish the first 72 hours of Frank's stay in the mall and return to the helipad by noon on the 22nd. Clothes Rack Points Spin all of the racks in the Entrance Plaza and you will get 2.000 points for each and a 10,000 bonus for all racks spun. Frying Pan Bonus Throughout the game there are certain restaurants in which you will find stoves. Find a nearby Frying Pan, then walk up to the stove and press "B" to "Examine." You will place the frying pan onto the stove and receive 2,000 PP. You can do this in Columbian Roastmasters (Al Fresca Plaza, A108), Columbian Roastmasters (Paradise Plaza, P202), That's a Spicy Meatball! (Food Court, F102), Chris' Fine Goods (Food Court, F103), and Jill's Sandwhiches (Paradise Plaza, P104). After completing all Frying Pan Bonuses you will receive a bonus 10,000 PP. ServBot Head Bonus In the store Child's Play, in Paradise Plaza, you can find a giant ServBot whos eyes don't match up with the mouth. If you correctly line up the dizzy eyes with the frowning mouth, you will earn a 10,000 PP bonus. A good way to do this is by hitting it with a large object, such as a sledgehammer, then spitting on it for precision. Punching Bag Bonus In Flex's Gym, in Al Fresca Plaza, break each punching bag along the back wall for 2,000 PP a piece and then 10,000 for breaking all of them. Roller Coaster Points In the Wonderland Area of the mall, Jump on the roller Coaster while it is not out of control by Adam the clown. Soon the ride will start and you will ride around on the roller coaster. Stay inside the roller coaster untill the ride finishs and stops. After it stops, It will say "Roller Coaster Completion Bonus" and you will score 10000 extra PP. Treadmill Bonus PP In the gym "Flexin'" in Al Fresca Plaza, run on a treadmill for a few seconds and you will get 2,000 bonus PP for each one you run on. Run on all of them for an extra 10,000 PP bonus. Bonus PP points Destroy each of the displayed plates in the Food Court. You'll get 1000 PP points for each and you'll also get a 10000 bonus for destroying them all. There is also an SMG hidden above the signage in the same area. Submitted By: vhayste Unlock shortcut between Paradise and Wonderland Plazas After defeating Adam the Clown, go to the coaster and stop it. A survivor will emerge from the coaster. Escort him to the women's washroom and he will open a shortcut to Paradise Plaza. This shortcut is very crucial for the main objectives for getting A rank or escorting multiple survivors. At the second store/shop on your left (it is a resturant/food court) enter the shop and jump behind the counter and walk to the juice section (you'll see it, mmmmm O.J.) after you replentish your health,walk to the right of the juice section and jump off-trust me. You will land on an orange canopy and yeehaw you'll find the Katana that will slice and dice the hoards of zombies in your path. All though the katana does not last long, it is freakin sweet watching the zombies be cut into bloody pieces! Best way to play If you follow this way of playing you will be unstopable at Dead Rising. Always have a katana (samarai sword) in your inventory it is the best weapon in the game. Also, always have a quickstep smothie. If you go to the ice cream shop in the food court and mix together two milks, two yogurts, or a milk and a yogurt you will get one. This is especially usefull when you go outside because the convicts in the hum-v are hard to kill, but with a quickstep smoothie you can run away from them unharmed. Kill a few zombies and then die around the parking lot area. When you "save and exit to title", you keep your character's development (and PP values) for the next attempt at the game. You can power up significantly to muscle through the later areas of the game! Samurai Onechambara Zombie Action Screw the firearms. This is not Resident Evil! Stick with the samurai sword if you want to whack bosses. Deliver a few hits and your bullets can be saved for times when you need to attack at range to get to vital food and health items. Shake First to make a shake you put two food items into A blender found at the food court or other food shops. The shakes give frank special powers for a short amount of time. For each one of these dishes you break you will receive 1,000 PP, and you will receive a 10,000 PP bonus after destroying them all. You can break them by using a gun or by throwing stuff at them. Killing Spree The best 2 places to go and kill some zombies are the underground tunnel which is good because you can use the car 2 run people over and samsh into zombies pushing petrol tanks around. The second place 2 go is the Colbys hardware store because u have different weapons which u can't run out of ammo. Submitted By: Cheat legend Phsychopaths The best way to kill the physchopath Cletis in the gun shup is to run straight away using the left door and hide behind the other remaining door. Then get your gun out and when you im at Cletis you will just be able to get a shot at him and do not let him try to drink milk to recharge his health. You can also do this with the phsychopath in the case Medicine Run with the doors between the butcher shop and the other shop. Submitted By: Cheat legend Hidden items Through out the game you will find many different item such as the katana / location / columbian roastmasters / balcony or even the uzi / submachinegun / paradise plaza/go to the stairs on the righ once you come out of the hallway and jump from the stairs up onto the overhang and follow it along to the end to find a submachine gun also their is aanother in the al fralchesca[not sure on spelling] plaza in ther middle of the fountain also it is possible to find the psychopaths wepons with out fighting them for example on the 20th at precicely 3pm and that is enter the leisure park at 3pm around the clock tower maybe in one of the bits p water arpound you will find the mini chainsaws Submitted By: purplerogue How to survive infinity mode All you need to do is get all the 3 health books one is found in the entrance plaza book store and the other is in the wonderland plaza and the third one is in the empty store cupboard next to crislips home saloon and then all you have to do is sit in a place that is sealed off like the empty store cupboard but make sure you have either a real mega buster or a full inventory of wine or well done steaks so its times by 3 so that means a 5 healing block wine will heal you by 15 so one wine can heal you fully so if you have a full inventory of wine you can las for a very long time without having to move. Submitted By: purplerogue Easy PP Once you complete a few story missions, you'll see these Raincoat Cultists walking around the mall, their usually in large groups and wear green masks and yellow suits. Pick up some pistols and shoot at their heads, usually one shot kills with a headshot. You will get 500pp each time you kill one. If your not succesful with a headshot, the cultist will run at you and detonate himself, which does a tiny bit of damage. Also be aware that they charge at you with knives that take away around 2-3 health squares. It will take some time, around 10-20 easy kills will get you a level up. Submitted By: shadowknight99 The Best Way To takeout Psycos Get The Heavy Machine Gun From The Convicts Jeep Then Kill The Psycos Thay Take 3-9 Rounds To Kill. Submitted By: shadowknight99 Killing the convicts The convicts are one of the most annoying psychopaths you will come across with. Fortunately, they are predictable and easy to defeat. First, get the SMG over the ledge in Paradise Plaza, just outside the path leading to the control room. Then stock up with Orange Juices in Columbias Roasmasters. Go out in the park and look for them. Lure them in the area where there are a lot of trees (be careful of the zombies) Make sure you get to the angle that you can shoot the gunner and that they are stuck at the same time. Kill the gunner first. Then carefully grab the heavy machine gun and kill the other two. Ride the jeep to unlock the achievement as well. Submitted By: vhayste Defeating Adam the Clown Don't fight him with melee weapons. You should use pistols against him. You can get infinite supply of pistols by killing the guard zombies near the stairs. Keep distance from him. Evade his attacks and wait for him to blow a balloon. Quickly shoot it and the balloon should damage him. Keep on doing this until he's dead. You can use his small chainsaws then. Just keep on coming back to the same place to multiple chainsaws. Submitted By: vhayste Easy 100% Machinegun Accuracy When working to get a good ending, special forces should sweep the mall. Kill one of them and get the machine gun. If you have one of the missions where Carlito is dragged by Larry the butcher, go to the meat processing plant. Find a safe location and empty all the 150 rounds to one of the hanging meats there. You will unlock the achievement without missing a single round. Submitted By: vhayste Easy way to get the Zombie Genocide achievement Some people say to go into the Maintenence Tunnel to get the achievement and their right. My way is to get the red car in the parking lot at the beginning of the game and enter the tunnel. Once in the tunnel make a right, left, right and u will hit a dead end. Go to the dead end wall and back out. After backing out head back the same way there should be a whole group of zombies. Drive through them and maybe you will get lucky and hit a propane tank. when through the zombies head towards the truck across from the butchers shop and do the same thing. After doing it with the truck go back out to the lot and get the red car and repeat the process. In this technique it took me 35 min. in real time to kill 10,000 zombies, In all it should take you around 2h 50m to get 50,000 kills.
