Gallop Racer 2006 Cheats

"Super Horse"

I have tested this method with 5 horses and it DOES work.

This ONLY WORKS with horses make in the game- You CANNOT do it with a horse bred in "Gallop Stallion'.

There is a way to make your horses stats the highest they can be-

120 for:
Speed
Staying
Stamina

And 99 for:

Breaking
Power
Feel
Fierce
Tenacity
Courage
Response.

You can make it so the horse runs well on both Dirt & Turf, can run any distance of race (5.0~20.0F), has a good interval. Hence the cheat name, "Super Horse".

First, choose any horse you want. Ride it a few times in Simulation Mode and get the feel for him/her. Don't worry about winning yet- just make sure you know how the horse can race. If you're unsure of what horse to use, my suggestion is to use an SS colt named 'Plain Guard', or an SS colt named 'Chilly Link'. Then, after you've got the horse chosen, go to 'Simulation Mode' and choose 'Horse Edit'. Find your horse. Then, push R1 until you get to the screen that allows you to edit the horses Abilities & Statistics. Raise all the stats (Stamina, staying, feel, ECT.) To their highest (listed above).

Make all the 'course variations' -
Turf [tf](m.y),
Dirt [dt] (m/y),
CW, CCW, Tight-

are a circle with another circle inside of it. That means the horse will run well on all tracks and will be able to make clockwise (CW), counter-clockwise (CCW) & Tight turns. Make the Leg anything you want. Personally, I prefer a 'follower' (last arrow yellow), for a come-from-behind is my personal favorite. For growth type, you want 'LATE'. That means the horse will be able to perform at it's best until it's last year (age 8). Choose LATE 7, 8 or 9. Either one works. Make the interval another 'double circle'. Then edit the horses abilities. Choose any you want (up to 5 or 6).

These are the most useful to me:
"Front runner",
"Instant Response",
"Stretch Burst",
"Last Corner Leader",
"Closer",
"Grit",
and "Start Dash".

Save your changes.
Then, go into 'Theme Park Mode' and buy the horse to use. These horses CANNOT LOOSE if you ride them correctly. They will always be the favorite with odds rarely going above "4.0".

Horses will race well when in any condition(calm, eager, tense, jittery), and will win if you know how to ride them correctly (if they have good feel).

But, when in bad condition (horse on the horse status screen is white on gray) they will not win as well, or may come in 2nd, even with all of their enhancements. They need breaks, too. When green ('Eager to Race') they'll be able to win by more than 5F, maybe more than 20F. I've managed to get 28F between me and the pack.

If you want a way to get better odds so you can bet & win more money back, make their rank 'F'. They'll keep their good stats, but will get worse odds- making it better for you if they win (Which they will.)
