In the Japanese version, hold L and press A at the main menu. Jonathan will say "Showtime" to confirm correct code entry.
Complete the game with the best ending to unlock the following:
Kill 1000 (or more) Old Axe Armor (Monster No. 92). Then SAVE. You need to SAVE in order for the Kill Count to register. Now when you start a New game. You can choose OLD AXE ARMOR as a player character.
Successfully complete all of Wind's quests to get the Magus Ring. It regenerates your magic points quickly.
Use Sanctuary on Stella and Loretta, then speak to them afterward to start an optional boss battle, then complete that battle.
Successfully complete the game with the best ending to unlock "Richter" and "Sisters" modes, Boss Rush Courses 2 and 3 at the "Boss Rush" menu, the hard difficulty setting, the "Sound Mode" option at the main menu, and the ability to replay the game by loading your cleared saved game file.
Successfully complete the game under the hard difficulty setting to unlock a permanent +50 Luck bonus.
Complete the indicated Boss Rush course under the listed time to get the corresponding bonus.
Complete Hard mode with the indicated level cap to unlock the corresponding bonus.
Set your birthday in the DS system settings to the current date. Then, go to Vincent the shopkeeper. A birthday cake that costs 3,000 will be offered for sale.
While fighting Legion, become Charlotte and use the Ice Needle spell. It should take two to four fully charged Ice Needle spells to take out a section. If you have the Volcano Duel Crush, use it to take out Legion from the top platform.
Play as Jonothan and hold up while standing by Vincent. He will say something like "What! Dont tell me...That girl!". Play as Charlotte and do the same thing and he will say something like "What! They killed Jonothan?". Play as both characters and repeat it and he will say something about Jonothan and Charlotte as a couple.
Play as Charlotte and stand in front of Vincent. Hold Up until he begins speaking.
