NASCAR '99 Cheats, Cheat Codes and Hints for Playstation

Dirt Track Racing:
In the infield at Charlotte you can race on a dirt track. To do so, race 5 laps around the Start/Finish line and a dirt track will appear.

First Place Every Race:
Press Up, Down, Left, Right, Triangle, Square, Circle, X, in that order.

Waving Driver:
Select cockpit view, then hold Select until the driver waves

Turbo mode:
Hold Circle and press Up, Left, Down, Right at the game setup screen.

Fast car:
To get a special car that goes 300 mph and turns perfectly, all you have to do is press X, Square, Triangle, Circle, Up, Down, Left, Right (10 times at the car setup screen right before the race)

Race as Benny Parsons:
Hard way: Race in a championship season with at least a 50% race length and finish in the top five on the Richmond track.

Easy way: Select single race. Put track on Richmond and highlight select car. Press R2, R2, L1, L1, L2, L2, R1, R1, R2, L1.

Race as Bobby Allison:
Hard way: Race in a championship season with at least a 50% race length and finish in the top five on the Charlotte track.

Easy way: Select single race. Put track on Charlotte and highlight select car. Press Left, Up, Right, Square, X, Circle, L1, L2, R2, R1.

Race as Cale Yarborough:
Hard way: Race in a championship season with at least a 50% race length and finish in the top five on the Darlington track.

Easy way: Select single race. Put track on darlington and highlight select car. Press Up, Up, Up, Square, Square, Square, Left, Circle, Circle.

Race as Davey Allison:
Hard way: Race in a championship season with at least a 50% race length and finish in the top five on the Talladega track.

Easy way:Select single race. Put track on Talledega and highlight select car. Press Up,X, Down, R1, Left, Circle, Right, Square, L2, R2

Race as Alan Kulwicki:
Hard way: Race in a championship season with at least a 50% race length and finish in the top five on the Bristol track.

Easy way: Select single race. Put track on Bristol and highlight select car. Press R1, R1, R2, R2, Square, Square, Circle, Circle, X, X.

Race as Richard Petty:
Hard way: Race in a championship season with at least a 50% race length and finish in the top five on the Martinsville track.

Easy way: Select single race. Put track on Martinsville and highlight select car. Press Up, R1, Right, Circle, Down, X, Left, Square, L1, R1.
