Cheat mode:
Quickly press Up, Down, Circle + Triangle when the Infogrames logo appears. The phrase "Lock Off" will appear to confirm correct code entry. Note: Press Up, Down, Triangle, Circle, Up, Down, Triangle + Circle for the PAL version of the game. The arcade medium and hard tracks may now be immediately selected. Additionally, one of the following codes may be entered to activate the corresponding cheat function.
All cheats
Hold Left + R1 + R2 + L1 + L2 until the Infogrames logo disappears. A message will confirm correct code entry.
Unlimited time
Hold Left + L1 until the Infogrames logo disappears. A message will confirm correct code entry. The race continues in arcade mode even if the checkpoints are not crossed before time expires.
Narrow tracks
Hold Left + L2 until the Infogrames logo disappears. A message will confirm correct code entry. Eighteen narrow tracks may now be selected. These tracks are usually earned by completing the arcade hard course under the Ace difficulty level.
Unlimited time and narrow tracks
Hold L1 until the Infogrames logo disappears. A message will confirm correct code entry.
Jeep and rollercoaster track
Hold Left + R1 until the Infogrames logo disappears. A message will confirm correct code entry. A small Jeep will replace the Peugeot 106 Maxi and a rollercoaster track will replace Sweden track 1. Note: This code may not be enabled in the NTSC version of the game.
Restart race
Hold Left + R2 until the Infogrames logo disappears. A message will confirm correct code entry. Allows an arcade mode race to be restarted.
Debug mode
Press Left, Right. Game debug information will be displayed. A message will confirm correct code entry. Press Start to access a "Memory" option that displays more information.
